HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
Roni (vocals): The name came from a book of poetry my dad had lying about in the house called “words that burn”. In the very early days of the band myself & my dad we were talking about a poet called Christina Rosetti one day and he said he had a book with some of her work in it somewhere. When I saw the name I was like, “that would be a cool band name”…. and so it stuck.

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
Roni: Good question…. It was about 6 years ago and there was probably 30 or 40 people there. Which isn’t bad for a first gig. I’d image we were playing with a few other bands.

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
Roni: Last Sunday and I went to see the Avengers: End Game with Shane our guitarist and our partners. It was amazing. Ate my bodyweight in popcorn and enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster that is End Game!

WHAT IS SOMETHING - APART FROM YOUR PHONE OR WALLET - THAT HAS TO BE IN YOUR VICINITY AT ALL TIMES?
Roni: My vape. I’ve been trying to stay off the cigarettes for a while now and I need my vape for nicotine related emergencies.

WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU'D WRITTEN?
Roni: Hmmm….. That kinda changes on a daily basis depending on what I’ve been listening to. But for right now, lets say Doomsday by Architects. It’s the perfect metalcore song. Musically its perfect, its got a groove that is hard not to get you buzzing and lyrically it would break your heart.

WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
Roni:…. The one that stands out the most is when we played a gig in Cork and a guy we know, Rob, present us with his newest tattoo. A big, half arm tattoo of our last album merch artwork… It was very cool. Big commitment but very, very cool.
