HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
I was doing some backcountry hiking in Big Sur and lost the trail. I had to cross a stream with my bag and shoes over my head. I finally found the road, took ten steps and turned to my left to discover a ten-point buck staring me down. A buddy had just explained the concept of spirit animals to me the week before. It was written. -
WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
First show with the official lineup was at Mercury Lounge. There were probably 100 people there. I think I overdressed. -
WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
Two days ago in Destin, FL was a top-ten off-day experience. The radio station hooked us up with a 24-foot pontoon boat! We whipped it around the bay blasting music and had burgers on Crab Island, this waist-high area where you walk from floating food stand to floating food stand. We initially found out about this gem while touring with The Struts.
