Nashville-based singer-songwriter Becoming Young returns with Trippin’ September 27th. Drawing influence from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Troye Sivan and Shawn Mendes, Becoming Young blends EDM beats with the expressive dynamics of indie pop and acoustic singer-songwriter textures.
Under the moniker Becoming Young, Brandon Calano narrates the exhilaration of modern-day romances and heartache through refreshingly restless pop music. Becoming Young’s sound spans fizzy One Republic pop to the dark grandeur of Dermot Kennedy and Glen Hansard.
When asked about the track, Brandon confessed: “Being single these days is crazy, especially if you’re a sensitive guy like me. It can be lonely, surprising, traumatic—so many things. I’m curious to know if anyone relates, or if the story of my love life is just a mess.”
The smolderingly sexy music video for Trippin’ will debut October 4th—shot by award-winning director, Jared Januschka.
Becoming Young is set to release Trippin’ on all streaming platforms September 27th via Distrokid.
