HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
Wow, I haven't been asked that before, but I guess it is quite an unusual. In fact, there are apparently only two breeding males left. There are very few Kittermasters left and although it’s along name, I wanted to be authentic so kept it. I have been led to believe that originally the family came over with William the Conquerer and the spelling has changed from Kiddermeister over the years. Probably time for me to dig out the family tree; I know that there is one in the attic somewhere!

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
The first gig I did was when I lived in Dubai. I was 12! A few weeks before the event I had been asked by the school that I attended to sing live on breakfast TV. I sang Skinny Love by Birdy. From that, I was approached by the organisers of the Global Gift Gala event if I would open the star-studded event later that month. The event was hosted by Eva Longoria and Ricky Martin and guests included Maxwell and 50 Cent among others. There were about 500 people there I think.

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
I have only just left school so I’ve had quite a few days off over the summer. Last week I went to Boomtown with friends for a mad few days. I have done a lot of recording, writing and gigging this summer but even on days ‘off’ I tend to write, listen and practice.

Antihistamine. I have quite a sever allergy to cats so I always carry some with me - you never know when you’re going to come across at cat!!!

WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU'D WRITTEN?
My favourite question and so many answers. I think right now I’d say ‘Someone You Loved’ Lewis Capaldi, simply because of how much that song has changed his life. I follow him on Instagram and seeing videos of him have the song sung to him by 80,000 people gives me goose bumps - it must be surreal, something I dream of!

WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
Well, it’s very early days for me but after supporting Ronan Keating at Castle Howard in August this year, I signed my first autographs. It was all a little surreal.
