HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
Ben Simpson – Guitarist “Neil McNaughton – Bass and I (Ben) came up with ‘Eviscerate The Crown’ early on and it stuck, when Alex Myers - guitarist, Sam Shergold -Drums and Liam Carroll – Vocal joined they were all sold with the idea. Mind you we have expanded on our theme in different ways as we have grown as a band, but stuck with the idea of the crown.”

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
Sam Shergold - “We played a sold out show at a studio on the Central Coast of New South Whales Australia, which is about an hour north of Sydney, if you know where that is.”
-
WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
Neil McNaughton – “I’m actually currently on holidays in Canada, so I’m enjoying some time with Family overseas, sorry boys…”
-
WHAT IS SOMETHING - APART FROM YOUR PHONE OR WALLET - THAT HAS TO BE IN YOUR VICINITY AT ALL TIMES?
Alex Myers – “Generally I have my guitar with me twenty four seven, as I teach music for work. Probably the luckiest out of all the guys, as Neil is a Chef, Sam works in IT, Ben works in Fabrication and Liam works in Car Modification.”
-
WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU'D WRITTEN?
Sam - "For me I think that's probably Holy War by Thu Art Is Murder, because of the way they have constructed the song, with great blends of blasts and break downs. Personally I really like the way Lee Stanton drummed on this album, super clean and the kit tone was so fat!"
-
WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
Liam – “For me my most surreal fan moment was being noticed on the streets of Japan and being asked by a swarm of people with a photo we took about 18 months prior asking for us to sign it.”
