Esoterica release cinematic trailer for forthcoming 2020 'In Dreams' album release

"It's been a long time coming..."

Following the recent release of their latest single 'In Dreams' - which premiered on Prog Magazine's website - London rock outfit EsOterica have unveiled a cinematic teaser trailer for their forthcoming studio album, set for release in 2020.

Sharing the emotional video via their social media channels, EsOterica take pause to reflect on their extended hiatus and the four-year voyage that has led the band here - gazing patiently on the dawn of their forthcoming studio album 'In Dreams', and on their return to the forefront of the UK's rock scene in the new year, with a number of UK tour dates confirmed for April of next year.

"We've been lucky enough to travel all over the world and see and do amazing things..."

From tours with the likes of Marilyn Manson and HIM to music videos shot in Hollywood - and with over one million combined Spotify and YouTube streams - the once-monolithic presence of South London’s EsOterica is fondly remembered in the band's latest video teaser, with footage of various live performances cutting in across the video's two minute duration.

"The next part of the journey is as much about you as it is about us..."

But of course, EsOterica's teaser is not just looking at what once was. As the band prepare for their highly-anticipated return, band vocalist Luke Keast muses on the creation of their upcoming studio release, and the importance of 'In Dreams' not just for their fans, but for the band as well.

"After the last album we had some time out, did a farewell tour and then everything went quiet. But like with all matters of the heart, you can't forget about it for long - it was only a matter of time before we all got back together and started coming up with new ideas. We spent time working on this huge collection of ideas whittling everything down into what you will hear soon."

"We set about recording these songs in the best way we knew how; with the best musicians and engineers we know, and with the best equipment we could find. For this album, we wanted to continue to push the bar in terms of what we could achieve. We've made some amazing films for these songs, and even went to Abbey Road to record with an orchestra. That was something truly special."

Closing with a heartfelt message to EsOterica's fans and followers, Keast summarises...

"Your reaction to all this has been insane, and so incredibly uplifting for us. This new album is the culmination of four years of work, aided by some truly incredible people. This trailer gives you a little glimpse into the making of this record, but also remembers everything we've shared with you in the past. With shows next year almost sold out or being upgraded, we can’t wait to share our new album with you, and we're even more excited to play it live for you all. We want to keep making music and we will keep making music, but it's up to you how far this goes. Either way, we can't wait to see you all very soon."
