HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
I was trying to find something that was original, so we didn’t share a name with other bands.
I had a note book where I was writing down ideas, and Aspherium was the one idea that seemed to fit.

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
Our first gig was at a Christmas party that the instrument store in our town, Moss arranges for musicians in the town to play. I think we played three songs. There was probably about 100 people. Not just to see us, most people was there to see blues or rock, not metal!

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?

WHAT IS SOMETHING - APART FROM YOUR PHONE OR WALLET - THAT HAS TO BE IN YOUR VICINITY AT ALL TIMES?
Headphones! I need to listen to music or podcasts! I have quite a commute to work, and listening to music and podcasts is a pretty big and important part of my day.

WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU'D WRITTEN?
Something massive that made so much money that we could focus on Aspherium without having to worry about day jobs. Gangam style or something like that! But if for the quality of the music, I’d say Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. What a song. That could probably pay for a few albums etc as well to be honest.

WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
Whenever someone really knows our music. When they know the lyrics and they notice tiny details in the music that you only hear if you’re really paying attention. The fact that somebody cares that much about our tiny band is just so cool, and we do not take that for granted. We appreciate it so damn much.
